A segmentation fault occurs when a program attempts to access a memory location that it is not allowed to access, or attempts to access a memory location in a way that is not allowed (for example, attempting to write to a read-only location, or to overwrite part of the operating system).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I have seen hundreds and hundreds of seg faults \ud83d\ude09 while coding for record module of <a href=\"http:\/\/ldtp.freedesktop.org\/\">LDTP<\/a> and Spider SMS. But the one i saw yesterday was new, strange and fascinating. I am not sure whether i will be able to reproduce it again.
